Free Teacher Training Sessions
Free sessions are available to introduce teachers to Parliament and ways of teaching political literacy within citizenship, general studies and related subjects. The sessions are hosted by Parliament's Education Service and the BBC.
Sessions will also include briefings on how teachers can get their schools involved in Schools Question Time 2010, as well as BBC News Schools Report.
The dates for the Autumn sessions are below:
- 21 September: 11am-3pm, Scottish Parliament
- Scottish Parliament tour and education session also included
- 30 September: 12.30-3.30pm, BBC Bristol
- 2 October: 11-4pm, London, Houses of Parliament
- tour of Parliament also included
- 7 October: 12-4pm, Belfast, Northern Ireland Assembly
- NI Assembly tour and education session also included
- 12 October: 12.30-3.30pm, BBC Leeds
- 13 October: 12.30-3.30pm, BBC Birmingham
